these are absolutely fantastic! thats why i find it funny when people
tell me that the things i post are not true. do you not believe that
these really are my blood sugar levels? obviously i’m doing something
right! i can’t take all the credit. God is doing a major work in my
life, and i truly believe is healing my body day after day. the only
reason that it was in the 130s on monday and tuesday was because i

two questions

Monday, May 28th, 2007

Has anyone had any experience with a supplement called Colostrum helping people
with diabetes with sugar levels, or other effects of diabetes? If so, can any
one email me either articles with this information, or links to articles?
Also, I’ve heard that in the April Diabetes Forecast, there was an article about
some research being done through some organization about sleep patterns and
diabetes? I can’t find my last copy of the magazine, so was wondering if some
one could find it on the internet, or send me the link to find it. Thanks.

check out these blood sugar levels!

Sunday, May 27th, 2007

today at lunch my level was 73. thats perfect. i had a little over
120 some carbs and only took 3 measely units of insulin. i still
dropped all the way down to 52 a little while after i ate. obviously
that was WAY to much insulin. it is obvious that i am still producing
insulin, it is just getting better and better and better!
check out some of these readings 2 hours after my meals. i assure you
i am not on purposely overdosing myself with insulin to make this
happen. it is the normal 1 to 15 dose for at home that my doctor told
me to do.
date breakfast 2 hrs later lunch 2 hours later supper 2 hrs later

proof getting sick does not raise blood sugar levels!

Saturday, May 26th, 2007

alot of people have told me that when you get sick, it will cause your
blood sugar levels to rise. the doctors even told me to keep checking
for ketones when i got sick. whatever! i’ve had a nasty cold for the
past 3 days and my level never went above 134. its a total myth that
blood sugars rise because you are sick. i woke up today and it was 114,
thats perfect. so whoever started the rumor that being sick makes blood
sugars rise is crazy!

a 5.8 woo hoo baby!

Thursday, May 24th, 2007

i found out the results from my first a1c test yesterday, it was a
5.8! thats completely normal! hurray! everyone on these groups kept
telling me how it was impossible to control your sugars, and that i
wasnt going to be able to do it. well i guess i proved them wrong.
its not hard, all it takes is a little effort. for people who like
staying healthy, the effort is easy. thats down from a 13 in december
when i was really sick. i know i will be able to get this lower and
lower! with God, you can do anything. and he’s been looking out for
me big time! yeah!

hi, new member

hi. i just joined. i found out i had type 1 diabetes in december. i
was sick for a few weeks and was losing tons of weight and was going
to the bathroom nonstop. thankfully i went to the doctors in time, a
few more days and i could have died. my sugars were about 340, i was
totally dehydrated. i’m healthy now and i feel super. i’ve gained 25
pounds since then! my sugar levels are fantastic. my doctors are
wonderful. i’m 25 by the way. i am confident i will never have to
suffer any complications whatsoever. i have read tons of information
and every one of the books i read say that by keeping your sugars
close to normal, and having an a1c of 6.5 or below, it provides
powerful protection. i believe that in the not to distant future, a
cure will be developed. my doctor who also has diabetes said they
know how to put cells into your body, but havent figured out how to
stop them, because they turn into cancer right now. i’m sure they
will fix that. i’m 25, i have tons and tons of years left. i’ve

I am a 51 yr old type 2 diabetic of 10 years, whose blood sugar levels
were between 120 and 330 when I was taking 4 X 2.5/500 Glucovance and
1 x 45mg of Actos daily, 4 months ago. My current 14 day average is
102 and my current 30 day average is 113. I am no longer tired and
lethargic all the time. In fact I have not felt better for years. My
new treatment regime is working - with reduced medication. However, I
am always looking for ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle and keep my
diabetes under control, so any suggestions are welcome.
