I just got the Pastamatic that was backordered since Christmas. I haven’t used
it yet, but I’m eager to experiment with making pastas from alternative flours,
such as whole wheat and bean/nut flours. The machine also makes sausages, which
I’m also interested in experimenting with.
Anyone else have one, and any tips?
Somebody sent me a rec. once for flaxseed pancakes using Atkins baking mix. All
I remember was that you were supposed to use x amount of flaxseed meal per cup
of mix and reduce the oil by y amount. I don’t remember the numbers for x and y
though. Anyone?
On Friday my dr. switched me from Glucophage to Avandia. I was just
wondering, for those of you who also take Avandia, does it work
pretty well for you? It seems like it is doing a good job for me so
far. My blood sugar was in the 140-150 range and so far in just
these few days on the Avandia it has been down in the 120’s or
lower. What is your general opinion on Avandia? Any important side
effects? I’d appreciate any info. Thanks!
