WORN OUT! JUST WORN OUT!!!
We are home until Friday when we have to go back
to OKC. Beth<br
strength to rally before long we have<br
ourselves to the fact that we are losing her. Jodi says
that she will<br
the summer. She was supposed to<br
procedures done a week ago yesterday. They only did<br
and the surgeon said that she just wasn’t strong
enough to have<br
look on his face and didn’t answere<br
asked him “When and how is she going to get strong
enough?”<br
weekend. I had to get<br
down to absolutely nothing. We came in<br
and she slept until 11 this morning. She never sleeps
beyond 7<br
want Beth in the hospital<br
immune system she would be very susceptible<br
the flu and RSV that is in the hospitals right now.
But her insurance<br
nursing care in the home. With multiple meds that<br
have to be compounded to be placed in Beths tubes
every 4 hours, vital<br
every 2 hours, helping her on and off the<br
commode, administering a heat pad to the surgical site 30
min on<br
with out worrying about meals,<br
Jodi has been doing it all for several weeks now and
just<br
much as he can at night<br
all he has to do is set down and he is asleep. We<br
have established a program with some of the ladies in
their church that<br
nurses from their church on their days off<br
going to attempt the care during the week and Jodi and
I will<br
the others a rest. This will be<br
while we are home about Beth. We are doing our best
to<br
and the eventuality of it. I<br
back posts to read and have 351 E-mails to read
and<br
much until Friday and will<br
guys on other subjects. Good health and happines<br
to all of you.<br

Herb & Jodi- My heart goes out to you. To be
losing a child (no matter their age) has got to be one
of the worst things that can happen. I hope that you
all have a strong religious faith .<br
you get through this time and know she will be in a
better place. <br

Herb, don’t you dare stop sharing with us about
Beth. We need to know what is going on so that we can
pray specifically for you and your family. We don’t
tire of being here for you…..and you can pour your
heart out with this group of friends as far as I’m
concerned. I don’t write often, but I read every post. I
want you to know that many of us are standing in the
gap for you and Jodi. We can’t do much to help
you….but we can stand WITH you! <br
has to be pushing your diabetes to the limits and
that is not good. So you hang in here with us and keep
us posted! I pray for strength in body, mind, and
spirit for you and Jodi and for every single person who
is involved in her care and I pray that Beth
receives a complete and total healing whether it be on
this side of glory or the other!<br
for you!<br
