I don't know if this will help, because
unfortunately I don't have the names of all the different meds
in front of me, but here it goes. My PCP made me
attend diabetic education classes and one of the things
we were told is that having a reaction to one
medication doesn't necessarily mean insulin is the next
step. There are several "families" of diabetes meds,
and you may just need a different one. My mom had a
real bad reaction to glucophage, but is doing real
well with glyburide. My aunt can't handle glyburide,
but is using the glucovance. Don't give up hope just
yet. I will try and get the list of meds and email
them to you.
