We have gone and returned once again

I will have to make this short and quick. Jodi
and I are here for a very short<br
my disability checks out of the mailbox, put them in
the<br
some first of the month<br
of exactly how long we have been in OKC. Beth<br
has taken a turn for the worse. At first she was
confined to bed.<br
bathroom etc. by taking her IV pole<br

My latest blood work

Friday, September 29th, 2006

I just got my latest blood work. My Ha1c was 5.3.
But I still have protein in my urine. Some good news
I guess. I have been having headaches in my left
eye for 2 weeks and my doctor doesn’t know why. So I
figured eveyone here does.

Grief, stress, and blood sugar

Wednesday, September 27th, 2006

Thank you every one for your support. We buried
Grandpa today and next week-end we will have his memorial
so hopefully eating pattern will get back to normal
soon. My morning blood sugars have been good but the
night time ones are always elevated, at least partly
because I am eating sweets in the late afternoon. This
morning I was so stressed I couldn’t remember if I took
my morning meds. Fortunately I will be able to get
back to regular routines soon. I am hoping that
planning the memorial will not require quite as much time
every day and I will be able to go for my walks and
clean my house. Can’t believe it but I WANT to clean
house. Lynda

so much thanks to all

I was afraid that I was going to offend everyone
when I came in here whinning like a baby! But you’ve
all been so great & helpful, I can’t expln how much
it means to me!! My needles are 1″ 22 gauge, & I
know they’re supposd to be the smallest, but when I
left the hospital they started looking bigger &
BIGGER! ha. It’s time for me to try again–instead of
getting all psyched out on the whole needle/skin image,
I’m gonna try to picture you guys rooting for
me–maybe that’ll help.<br

Many of you have been dealing with this blessing much longer than I have so
please tell me, just how long does it take for stress to affect your blood
sugar? Thank you, Lynda
