Carol- It sounds like you handled you care for
blood pressure very good. I have learned the hard way
to always doubt what the dr's say and to get a
second opinion or to think about it.<br
bp raises when I go to the dr's office. They call
that "the white coat syndrome".<br
with it. <br

Recent research shows that blood pressure
medication helps in diabetes control. I don't know the
specfics. My doc put me on Altoce even though I don't have
high blood pressure. Since then I have read
information on the internet that blood pressure meds do help
diabetics! I was glad my doc was up on the latest research!
Hope you get to feeling better!

Do you know what your BP is? I have learnt that
different doctors have different ideas of what is an
acceptable level. <br
had differing ideas, and I told them to talk to each
other and agree on what was acceptable for me, because
as things were, I could only keep one of them
happy!<br
BP was better than they thought, cos like a lot of
people my BP is higher when I'm at the doctors. Hiring a
monitor also convinced me at a later time that I did need
meds.<br
to to ensure my good health BUT doctors have to
convince me its really necessary first and is the best
thing for me to do.<br
with your doctor, and ask him what you've just asked
<!--more-->
us and tell him exactly what your concerns are -
that's if you haven't already!<br
everything works out for you.<br
