I don't know the specfics. My doc put me on Altoce even though I don't have high blood pressure. Since then I have read information on the internet that blood pressure meds do help diabetics! I have learnt that different doctors have different ideas of what is an acceptable level. <br had differing ideas, and I told them to talk to each other and agree on what was acceptable for me, because as things were, I could only keep one of them happy!<br BP was better than they thought, cos like a lot of people my BP is higher when I'm at the doctors.
