uwxyz, i definetly hate the big D, but i have so
many good things in life that i feel like kicking the
D in its face i have a very stable husband, 3 kids,
my own business and a secure home, family close by
So though diabetes has taken a lot away i still have
a lot to be thankful to god about. The pregnancies
i was not careful enough for (the boys) i feel they
don't do as well in school compared to my daughter
during whose pregnancy my sugars were closer to normal.
they get poor grades i blame myself!! so yes i resent
my diabetes because they deserved a better start,
but its too late to cry over what's past i can only
give them more help now but it hurts when your
carelessness affects another human life.<br
other diabetic mothers out there who feel diabetes took
<!--more-->
away part of their child's future?

hello tatty great to see u back ! i recently was
looking for info regarding pump as i finally convinced my
dr. that it was the solution for me. only to find out
minimed deos not have an agent here! ditronic deos but
its expensive about $3000 every 2 years which i think
is a lot for me to fork out by my self. how do u
guys on pump afford it most medical insurance deos not
cover pump at least mine deosn't, neither does my
government fund. which at the moment covers my insulin and
syringes at least. iam so confused because ditronic pump
is not as good as the minimed. then my dr said
before he left new york the inhaling insulin was only
just over a year away so that would mean it should be
available next year or a little later here. that will make
the pump useless. so what should i do??????? my head
<!--more-->
is spinning if only the company would allow me a
trial run then i would know what the pump does or
doesn't do for me. help from all pumpersb please........

Hi Cheekired,<br
been pretty dead lately. I've always wanted to get a
chat going, but I can't access the chat room through
my msn-tv, which is the way that I usually check on
the club. Msn-tv has certain limitations. I have to
see if I can start a chat through my brother's
computer.<br
Diabetes and Your Emotions chatroom? Maybe something can
be set up eventually. For members that are
interested in having a chat, before you go into the
chatroom, send an email to the other members through this
club letting everyone know that you will be in the
chatroom. This way everyone that can go into the chatroom
will meet you there.<br

Hi Jim,<br
that you decided to join our club. Feel free to post
your experiences with diabetes.<br
diabetes since for 31 years, I got it at age one. I'm
married, no kids. I use a MiniMed insulin pump, which has
been a great help for me.<br
