Happy New Year!
Hi everyone!<br
Christmas and a Happy New Year.<br
welcome all new members, the members of this group are
very kind people.<br
pneumonia and came out the hospital on Christmas Eve, they
said that I was in fair condition so they let me come
home, so I could spend Christmas with my family. I feel
much better.<br
300’s, but I was able to get them under control with the
insulin pump.<br
was that some of the doctor’s wanted me to remove the
insulin pump, so that they could give me insulin shots. I
wasn’t about to take off my insulin pump, especially
when I know that if I let them give me insulin by
injections it would be a disaster. At this particular
hospital they hardly ever inject the insulin on
time.<br
my sugars would be very out of control while on
shots.<br
never seen an insulin pump. It makes me nervous when I
have to go to the emergency room, because I know that
I’ll be asked to show my insulin pump, and I’ll be
told that they’ve only heard about it but have never
seen one.<br
insulin pump companies are doing their job at getting the
word out about insulin pumps. I never see any
literature that talks about insulin pumps in the diabetes
offices, I’ve never even seen a diabetes magazine over
there.<br
sure that there are many diabetics that can benefit
from an insulin pump.<br
be for everyone, but if you are on insulin and are
having trouble controlling your blood sugars, you should
really consider asking your doctor about an insulin
pump.<br

Taty- so glad to hear you are feeling better.
<br
I do not use the pump but I do use intensive
insulin therapy. Locals do not use it or understand it
and try to make me change my methods. Drives me NUTS.
