Needs suggestions

Thanks to mytcelt for the message from July 31st.
My daughter was diagnosed only 2 weeks ago with type
1. We need some suggestions for snacks for her. She
has to limit her calorie intake because she is a
little overweight. If anyone has any great suggestions
either for recipes, snacks, web sites that can help, it
would be greatly appreciated. I keep telling her that
she has to drink lots of water, but she got so tired
of drinking water before her diagnosis, she won’t do
it. We are hoping to get her on a pump in the future.
Thanks in advance for help. By the way, her name is
Hollie and she is 11 and going into 6th grade.

i know some probably take this the wrong way, but
i don’t mean it bad, just trying to help with what
    i know.<br
hollie about losing weight. i know it is bad for her but
i also know how much it hurts to be reminded about
it too. i am bulimic, i have been for a long time. i
know that part of the reason why is because i hated
myself for a long time, even from when i was hollie’s
age. girls that age are changing emotionally and
physically, there is going to be more weight but added on in
different places. i ended up losing the weight when i was
about 16, but then gained it back after i got married
    and was miserable there.<br
and it will probably kill me before anything else
does, but i do better some days. <br

not trying to upset anyone, but i know what she feels
    like.<br

stuff in the house. green apples are a favourite and he
realy enjoys exotix food like lobster, crab meat etc. i
have dates and 3-4 satisfy sweet ursge and are non
fat. soup mix powder with yougurt and for vegetable
dips also works well. if your daughter is a bread
eater dry rusks are great and take long to chew so a
    slice or ywo sayisfy.<br
is good too and ofcourse 2-3 cops popped popcorn
with no butter after a swim or other excercise. small
glass of juice or gingerale is good in the summer too.
