Excessive sweating & being DOWN
I used to sweat just like a hog in the sunshine
and was told that it was due to my diabetes. When I
was hospitalized in ‘99 I was put on insulin and a
whole new regimen of drugs. Now the only time I
perspire at all is when my blood sugar gets below 60 and
then I put out gallons. With regards to being down
some of the time. John is absolutely right. It gains
us nothing to fret and worry and get all self
absorbed in our problems. In fact it only makes our
physical problems worse. Look at John he was down about
your being down and he forgot how to spell. LOL
Seriously though I was having a real problem with this when
I first got out of the hospital. All my doctors
were saying “You’ve got to avoid stress at all costs.”
I was back in the hospital with a ETA (a minor
stroke) and was talking to one of my 2 Cardiologists (the
plumber, the other one is the electrician) and I asked him
“How can you live today and avoid stress?” His reply
was that there is no way to avoid stress or
disapointments. All we can do is to make up our minds that we are
not going to let them effect us and bring us down.
