Steve,….you gripe as much as you feel, does you
good. On here people understand your frustration with
diabetes. These boards are here just for that purpose and
an exchange of info of course.<br
like to avoid talking about it as they have no idea
how bad you can feel about it. They say if you take
your insulin nothing else matters. You will be as good
as cured. Little do they know. Their favourite
saying is “Oh you can’t have sugar in your
coffee!!!<br
will escape often enough anyway. I was 30 when
diagnosed. My weight is always 155 LBS.<br
with my extreme good looks makes me a success with one
woman only….Johanna. Ones in a while I wonder if my
charm would work elsewhere also but……Johanna is

Hi All! Just Joined up.. I live in Tennessee, I
am 35yo male. I was dx’d with type1 aug.’99 (with a
level of 886) and i thought i just felt bad &lt;he he
he&gt; have a bit of neuopathy in lower left leg and so
far everything else is ok except for my levels :-( &lt;averages 400+&gt; I get some pretty nasty bruises from
some of my shots several a day(24U “U”am&pm & 20-30U
of humalog 4+ aday)&lt;any suggestions?&gt;And
unfourtunately i am too thin for pump. Everyone tells me that my
attitude has changed..hmm wonder why? LOL,There are not
really many people in my small town here to talk to so i
am glad to be a member of your group! got first msgs
today and sorry to hear about your grandmom cheeky I am
hear if you or anyone wants/needs to talk. :-)

We all know it has to come to that but when it does

Johanna’s third time in the hospital. The first time an
X-ray said that she was well on her way for pulmonary
fibrosis. Wnem investigated the guy must have mixed up his
X-rays, then naso-pharynx growth which was removed and
now she has the same happening from time to time but
not concluding in a piece coming up.<br
heart, many tests, no conclusion.<br
to scare me to death, and I should really look for
an other chick, me thinks. LOL. <br
kids is a lot. Are they on the pump??<br
died in New Zealand at age 70. (I beat him sofar at

John- glad to hear everything is going ok for
Johanna. She has just got to quit scaring us. By the way,
has her throat thing resolved itself? And you are
right- you can’t afford to get ill here in the
US.<br
about your wedding. We want to hear all the details-
maybe post a picture or two. Weddings and babies are
such fun- a nice digression from our day to day woes.

It is sure nice to see how this board picked up
on postings. I don’t know if you ever look at other
boards and how they have come to a full stop. We will
gain more members just because we are “ALIVE”. That is
were people come for.<br
wishes for Johanna my boss. This morning they released
her from hospital after having given her endless
tests.<br
they took blood 6 times and maybe they sell it on the
black market, who knows??? Many ECG’s and X-rays, like
there was a sale on. The nurses and doctor’s are worth
their weight in gold, never saw a bad reaction from
anyone. The good part is because we are over 65 it cost
us nothing.<br
except for a basic preparation fee $ 6. we don’t pay for
