Laura, show your doctor!!!!!!

I have diabetes for 41 years on 6 needles per
day. Should have some experience with it don’t you
think????? Enjoy the following!!!!!<br
GUIDELINES FOR DIABETICS. (Print and hang up on the fridge
door.)<br
and not sticking to the rules! You<br
anything now but it sure as hell will get you later.
Diabetes will give you time to live, under what
circumstances, is up to how you control your diabetes right FROM
THE START!! A good life can be had, having
diabetes!!!!! <br
that will give you a good diet to live by, preventing
heart disease, preventing to be overweight and because
you are forced to do your excersize you will remain
slim or slimmer than you would be, if you carried on

the old way.<br
this. Nothing comes without effort. You will ALWAYS
have to stick to your diet, you will ALWAYS have to
take your medication at THE SAME TIME, you will
ALWAYS<br
your BLOODSUGAR so that you know you<br
as possible where you want to be. Keep complete
records of your testing.<br
don’t want to hear! No matter how well you stick to the
rules you will run into regular disappoinments, to the
point that you may want to pull the hair out of your
head, because good adherance to the rules doesn’t
ALWAYS results into good control of your
diabetes.<br
rules you will run into complications of diabetes that
could shorten your life. It could blind you, kidney
failure will make you have to experience dialysis, you
could lose toes, feet and yes even legs! I could go on
and on , but look at it this way, where ever you
blood flows to, trouble can occur.<br
an end here,….. if you stick to the rules, your
life can be a pleasant experience in spite of
disappointments, and you will avoid all or most of the
complications.<br
discipline in your everyday life. A big chance to live
longer and better than you would possibly have had
without it! <br

    john,<br
control. until recently my sugars were very much in
control. (i eat only 2 meals a day) w/o changing anything
my sugars jumped. i didn’t eat for 2 days but they
still didn’t come down from 180. since i’m having bad
bouts of insomnia, i read up on the subject and found
out lack of sleep can cause higher blood sugars. so
i’m waiting to see the sleep disorder specialist.
    <br
under control! hope this clears up any
misunderstanding. i can eat sweets w/o uping my sugars and have
been for 9 out of 11 years. 2 years i didn’t eat any
sweets but it didn’t help. <br
at their highest when i wake up. my liver dumps alot
of stored sugars during sleep so i have to eat

something right before sleeping to keep my sugars HIGH
ENOUGH so as not to trigger a big liver dump. oh, i am a
    type 2 diabetic. <br

    that’s 9 out of 11 years of being a type 2
    diabetic. <br
for detecting any problems early. my boyfriend has
extremely painful peripheral neuropathy eventhough he kept
his sugars under strict control. so it’s no guarantee
but if anyone here knows how painful neuropathy can
be you’d do anything NOT to get it!

    Dear Laura,<br
how long you have been type 2 diabetic, I have been
type 2 for 3 years now but knew it was coming as I was
gestational diabetic in 4 out of 5 pregnancies, so 7 months
after my yougest was born “kapow” it hit me I would
love to have a pal to talk to as sometimes it gets
hard. any way have a great day…Deb C

    hi deb!<br
complications. had to take steroids for 3 months for a blood
condition called idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura. still
can’t pronounce it but thankfully drs call it ITP for
short. sometimes steroids cause diabetes as in my case.
drs can’t agree with each other on this issue but i’m
living prove. am not bitter over it though. the
treatment of taking steroids was correct eventhough i ended
up having my spleen removed anyway to stop the ITP,
otherwise i would’ve died. i’ll take the diabetes instead.

    shitterisfull@…<br
especially since i have a 19 yr old son who sometimes
writes. how one gets a teen boy to write more to his
mother is a mystery to me. lol<br

How the heck did ya choose a name of “shitter is
full”? Out here the sh**er is a toilet!<br
tell me I read that wrong???<br
“Mytcelt” came from “My_T_Celt”= Mighty Celt.—Current
email server didn’t like underscores in my addy! WAH.

hehe it’s a line from the movie National
Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. a guy in only his boots and
robe is drinking a beer and smoking a cigar while
emptying his RV’s toilet in the curbside gutter drain. a
couple of neighbors stare in disbelief. he turns to them
and remarks “shitter was full.” <br
twist on it with “shitter IS full” because i have
    enough crap in my life.<br
