TOM……………………………….
I was going to say what Jenny just said. I’m in
full agreement with that statement from her.<br
have dia for 41 years on the needle and take 6 needles
per day right now. Have been lucky with the
complications in a way. I get foot and ankle ulcers that take 3
month of intensive care to heal, but so far they did
heal. My bad complication is caused by having to
catherterize<br
complications on top of complications and will never change.
Lucky with kidneys and eyes.(so far) When I got it at
30 my doctor said I would not make 65. Now I’m 71.
Soooooo!<br
wouldn’t in my condition. Your may be entirely different
and much worse. We all are different.<br
the ease of things is concerned, it was good to have
this talk with the doctor being honest about his
answers. When trying to get people for the 3-year
investigation he may have colored it not exactly to the truth.
This was a good piece of information, for you, and for
all of us. Thank you Tom.<br

Thanks John. This is going to be a long decision
process while I try to get as much info as possible. The
doctors will be sending me the phone #’s of patients
(both successes and those with complications) who have
offered to talk to new candidates so I will take them up
on that for sure.<br
today. Tom
