My new go-buggy
I’ve finaly got my new Hoveround electric
wheelchair. It is so great I get all<br
his birthday or Christmas just thinking about it.
It’s not<br
all kinds of problems with<br
it) it’s what it does for me that is so great. I can
go<br
the front and back yards<br
help me. I couldn’t get off the sidewalks even
with<br
myself. Yesterday I<br
blocks back) to see Jimmy G. my<br
barber. He’s a neat guy, born in California, was a
marine<br
gets so upset with people that<br
Latina or Hispanic. He says his heritage is Mexican
but<br
Mexican American. This<br
mile range. I’m trying to devise a real test<br
it. Whenever I leave the house in it Jodi makes me
carry the cell<br
called her from Jimmy G.’s and said<br
fallen and I can’t get up!!” You should have heard
her.<br

Yer mean herb man, “I’ve Fallen and can’t get up”
was also used by a robot probe they sent down into a
volcano to study how volcanos react.<br
hers too,m and after all the ‘busy people’ -Read:
Inconsiderate- kept bumping into her, she got a boke’s horn and
a flag on a long thin pole…like bicyclists use.
Then she kitted it out with ’sheepsking type fabric on
the seat, handles and such, I called it her
“FluffMobile”.<br

I have a buggy also. It is a Ford (For Old
Retired Diabetics) and in August I will have it for 6
years. The mileage???? Well, almost 38,000 KM (approx
22,800 miles.) Smart is me heh???? Is there anyone who
can beat that???<br
take some time to support this board….we need ALL
members. So get out of the garden or sunshine and let us
know if you are still alive!!!! Otherwise the funeral
services for this board will be announced
soon.<br

JENNY & JOHN V: I don’t know if the TV add showed
in your areas or not. But, there used to be an
add<br
be<br
it to notify if you had a medical<br
the add they had this pitiful old<br
fallen and who was notifying her agency of choice in
this terrible pleading voice.<br
I can’t get up!! That is why<br
to tease Jodi with. We have only run into one
negative so far with regards to the chair. Despite the
fact that the insurance company did not quibble one
bit about buying the most expensive chair on the
market they will not buy the lift to put it in the van.
We had looked forward to this capability since when
we got to the dr’s. in OKC we have to park in a
parking garage and go down in an elevator and then go
through an extensive set of underground tunnels and
eventually come up in the drs. bldg. Pushing me this
distance has gotten to be more than Jodi can handle. So we
have an appointment Sat morning to have a lift
installed at our expense, $2,000. We really can’t complain
though, to date the insurance company has spent well over
a million dollars on me. You two keep your sugars
in line, stay healthy and keep us posted as to what
is going on in your lives.<br

John,<br
have been getting on late and only reading. I have
been doing much better. I tried a massage, for the
first time, last week. Had been suggested by my Dr. and
some close friends to try. I cannot believe some of
the flexibily I have gotten back in my legs and arms,
with only one treatment. They feel like honest to
goodness legs and arms, not numb stumps. It is costly if
my insurance does not pay, but I will give up
something else to keep getting treatments if they make me
feel this much better.<br

I wish you good luck with your lift. I have a
friend whose son is 27 and he has a motorized W/C. The
lift kept breaking down on them so they just got a
ramt that comes down out of the van (motorized) and
they use that.<br
