,<br
weekend. I was so sorry to read your post. I don’t know
what to say that would help you or Jodi. Only I want
you both to know that you and your family are in my
prayers. You have been a very strong person and I know you
will continue to be so for your family. But I also
saying that does not help you or the situation. Anytime
you need to talk please do in on here or you can post
me privately any time. If Jodi needs to talk I would
be happy to talk with her. My addy is

Lorene, Gordom Miller’s wife

Thursday, March 17th, 2005

Yesterday Jodi and I were fortunate enough to
attend the service for Gordon (Gordo) Miller’s wife
Lorene. We carried all of the<br
many of you conveyed to us. We had never had<br
privilege of meeting Lorene. Her service was beautiful. It
was not a<br
and regrets it was a celebration of<br
that was obviously a life filled with service to her
family and<br
tremendously. We told him that when ever<br
we will call him and meet him for coffee or
something.<br
do every thing they can to<br

Cheeky, Crafty and Sharon.

Cheeky, that is way too hi, it causes a lot
‘o<br
(Sorry about that expression.)<br
don’t see other names so…)<br
Particularly after changing to humelog. I feel a headache
coming on<br
thing <br
times per day. Then to correct I shouldn’t overcorrect
or the other side will get me. In my case as said
before, even after 41 years I will suddenly produce some
insulin of my own …and together with my regular shots
(6 times per day because I enjoy them so much) it
will knock me out or nearly so.<br
additional info for the innocent soles ….if you have to
help a person in a very low situation who has slid to

Low Blood Sugar

Tuesday, March 8th, 2005

I do have a question for everyone. When I
experience a low B/S, anywhere from 60 on down the feeling
is extremely awful. I am wondering if anyone else
experiences an awful feeling from low B/S? I would actually
rather be high than have to experience those lows. Being
high, 200 and up I don’t feel any adverse effects at
all.

, wife of Gordon Miller who posted
on<br
on the 16th. Gordon<br

probably the only ones of all those who respect Gordon for
his<br
field of diabetic nutrition and<br
enough to go to Lorene’s service Wednesday we are<br
going to represent all of those from the net who love
and respect Gordon.<br

Importance of HbA1c Testing (IMHO)

Friday, March 4th, 2005

Hiya Everyone!<br
subject I haven’t seen posted recently. I just got my
quarterly HbA1c test back and for the third quarter I have
been below 6.2, which is in the non-diabetic reading
range. I know I will always be a diabetic, but I have
been good at sticking to my new dietary
restrictions.<br
that some people, even if they do everything they
should, sometimes continue to get high
readings.<br
quarterly HbA1c testing is important to keeping us on
track.<br
what your blood sugar has been. The HbA1c, at least
for me, lets me know if I have been doing things
right this past quarter, or if I need to work on it
