Almost back to normal??
Jerry and Pearlyne (our ex boss and his wife)
left yesterday. Jodi and I have<br
have company come in their travel trailer is the ideal
way<br
bedclthes on their bed,<br
they have clean wash clothes and towels,<br
this case they fixed their own breakfast in their
trailer every<br
around 10:00 AM. It was more like<br
neighbors than having company.Ever since we both left
the<br
house in December for<br
used to come to camp. We have decided that<br
was so much fun that we are going to expand it into a
3-4 times a<br
studying the early morning lows. I spent<br
day Thursday helping Jodi get ready for company. I
cut up<br
the cole slaw, fruits for the fruit<br
strawberries for the strawberry pie, etc. etc. My blood sugar
was<br
units of insulin. Friday<br
around southeast Oklahoma and had a noon<br
ate supper on the way home way to late. BS was 235
at<br
insulin at bedtime.<br
of nothing. My BS was within normal<br
Saturday night and Sunday morning. Sunday we got our
and<br
I took the normal<br
at 5:00 AM. I was so weak that Jodi didn’t<br
bother to take my blood sugar she just started feeding
me orange juice<br
do much of any thing and my BS was 125<br
bedtime so I took no insulin and my BS was 74 this
morning. We went<br
when my bedtime sugars have run<br
have taken no insulin my morning sugars have run 70
to<br
my 10 units my<br
90. Based on this we are going to have<br
snack and no insulin at bedtime when it runs 100 to 125
and just<br
try this for a while and see what<br
over weight as I am it just seems counter productive
to take<br
support it. THANX to all of you who<br
advice and support.<br

Hi Bear & Jodi- it sounds like you have really
been active. You spoke of taking 10 units of insulin
at night. Could it be that 10 units is too much?
What would happen if you tried to take only 5?
