a sweet newbie
hi! new here. i’m type 2 for 11 years. wondering
why my sugars won’t go down. it was 183 and after not
eating for 2 days it was still 180. my liver loves
dumping stored sugars when i sleep. could that be it? my
dr warned me 3 months ago if i didn’t get my 3 mo.
sugar no.(9) down he’d put me on insulin along w/ the
meds i take now. the past 2 mos. my sugars suddenly
went up but don’t know why. i’m not at all afraid of
needles but is insulin injections hard to manage? strict
routine? i’m very bad at routines. thanks! be well, laura

I’ve been a Type 2 for 6 years, and may also have
to go on to insulin if I can’t get my 3 mo sugars
down. Sometimes the tablet type meds just lose their
effectiveness over time, and this is what seems to be happening
for me at the moment. I think you’ve probably done
well to last on them for 11 years.<br
increased the amount of tabs I take and have to see how I
go in the next few months. So far my sugars are a
bit improved, but possibly not enough - I’ll just
have to wait and see.<br
