Struggling…
Hi.<br
diabetes when I was 21. I did really well for a while on
oral meds, but I had a quack for a doctor. When I hit
a honeymoon period she told me I was cured. Wrong.
So I had to hear twice that I was diabetic. I never
dealt with it well…than a year ago I got my insulin
pump, which completely changed my outlook. Six months
after going on the pump my A1c was 5.5! At last, I
could live as though I was not diabetic.<br
My A1c is back up and my brittleness is seemingly
back. I hate it. I have struggled with depression since
my early teens, and if offered the choice, I would
cure the diabetes and endure the
depression.<br
