On the fifty units…If it’s working for you,
it’s good. It’s when you’re taking a lot of insulin
and eating, eating, eating, to cover it, getting
heavier and heavier that problems come
about.<br

like a horse to ‘feed the insulin’. Now on the pump,
I’m at about 40-55 units a day….total.<br
Dx’d six months aftr I got married. When we split up
later (5 years) my ex tried to blame my diabetes and
bad eyes (From birth) and that HE couldn’t cope with
it. Well, he ‘coped’ with me going out to busk (play
music) on the street for money to pay bills whilst he
laid around the house, He ‘coped’ with me going out to
gigs to earn sixty-seventy pounds for two hours’ work,

as he did nothing.<br
can’t deal with your thing, it is a direct reflection
on their own shortcomings. Just as you see the
person who says this life is boring…Maybe they are the
ones who are, indeed ‘boring’ and need to wise
up.<br
despairate, whatever, and think that many times we bait
ourselves with ’self fulfilling prophecy’. We “Just KNOW
that’s gonna happen” and so we actually act as though it
will, so it does!—Proving us right.<br

deal with me, I certainly don’t need them. I have my
own house and am secure in my own identity. I don’t
need the ‘psychological vampires’ who would only drain
me dry and go off to someone else to ‘take’ them as
well.<br

be ‘retarded’ in their views of other human beings.
Some still would let female children die, whilst male
kids are taken to a doctor… Here in the USA though
we have enough diversity to allow freedom of
lifestyle without fear of public ostrazation. <br
If we are indeed adults, we need to get out of the
schoolhouse mentality of “I don’t fit in…” Yes you do!!
Everyone fits into their particular piece of the puzzle of
life and when we can truely live for ourselves (I
don’t mean being selfish or mean or hurting others…)
then -I feel- we can live comfortably among
others.<br
