Bad Day

I have been under a lot of stress lately and my
blood sugars are jumping all over the place. I had an
appoinment today with the endochronologist but there was a
huge mixup and I can’t see a doctor until tomorrow
morning now. I have a sneaking suspicion that my last
batch of insulin I got is expired or has gone bad. I
keep it in the fridge and I’ve only had it 3 weeks but
it doesn’t seem to be doing its job. Of course it
could be all my stress and my schedule has also been
very broken.<br
to be suffering complications later because my blood
sugars have been all over the place for weeks. I’m full
of nervous energy now and can’t calm down. How long
of out of control blood sugar does it take to
increase the risk of complications? Weeks, months, years?

I know there is probably no set time frame. I just
wish I was back under control.

I have been “out of control” at one time or
another for periods of three to four months at a time,
especially following any type of invasive medical procedure.
Blood sugars in excess of 300. I have had no visible
signs of complications. I have been told by a few Docs
that it can take years of high BS to develope
complications. Of course, like you said everyone is different.
