LIMARY…………………………….

Friday, January 30th, 2004

These days when we are making giant strides in
improving diabetes with the possibility of, through
injecting the Islets of Langerhans throught the liver into
the portal vein leading to the pancreas, even curing
the darn thing, it gives people more courage to move
ahead.<br
past on. In my case none of my two sons have it and
none of my 6 grandchildren have it.<br

With having diabetes does one do it???

Tuesday, January 20th, 2004

What do you think???<br
interesting and important subject. The question is, does one
want to have children when it is known that the
diabetes problems can be passed on to them….. When we
had our two boys, in 1955 and 1957, it was just
before it became clear that I had diabetes. (1960) I

with my prosthesis for about 4 days now to help reduce

prosthesis on and I stood with the help of a walker and took
5 steps before my leg buckled causing me to have to
set down.<br

Nightmares

Tuesday, January 6th, 2004

found, so I have to ask: did anyone suffer nightmares
the first few days on medication? <br
prone to evil dreams and nightmares. I am more used to
sleeping straight through the night. But last night, I had
the most horrendous nightmares–terribly vivid dreams
where I was physically violent to the extent that I
woke in sweats with the long muscles in my legs and
arms aching. Yet, my husband says I really didn’t move
a muscle. Does that go with this medication also?

Hi everyone,<br
welcome to all our new members, thanks for joining our

hospital, after receiving a call from the admitting office.
He’s been going to a vascular doctor, because he has
gangrene in one of his toes for some months now. His
doctor was waiting for insurance approval to have Jose
admitted.<br
30 years now, and he’s my only brother.<br
could see that he was scared when he left for the
hospital. He will probably eventually have his toe
amputated.<br
walked out the door, he gave me a tight hug and was on
his way.<br
