Question on Meditation
Hi everyone,<br
meditation. Jayj58kc mentioned that he meditates and that it
helps. Does anyone else here meditates and is it working
for you? If anyone has any information on this
subject can you please post it here? Thanks.<br

Taty,….there was a time some years ago that
meditation was advertised and made available through a
course of one day to take at the cost of
$80.<br
there who would watch you and help you is you would
repeat your mantra (a word that you repeat all the time
to keep your mind away from thinking of other
things) With other words keep your mind open to rest from
other thoughts.<br
(mantra given to us and that was it.<br
not needed to pay any money to meditate. You pick a
word that you make your mantra. Sit down and relax,
also if you wear shoes with laces loosen them. Than
repeat the mantra for at least 20 minutes trying to
empty your mind from other thoughts. Being completely
relaxed is the key. After 20 minutes you open your eyes
and will feel much less tired and ready to go on
again. It is very good to use when you are under much
stress. You can even do it in the plane, bus, streetcar
as long you know you have about 20 minutes otherwise
you may end up out of town. Don’t do it while driving
because closed eyes don’t work while driving. I tried it
onces and had a quick trip to heaven and back, may tell
you about that story sometimes.<br

John I have done meditation for over 5 years now.
Since my cancer dx in 95. It is great.<br
do whatever help you. I have several<br
even a sound machine. Really helps the stress. I use
the sound machine alot. <br
