Thanks for the invite! I’m new here
Taty, thank you so much for your invitation. I
read some of the posts and this sounds like a good
club, so I thought I’d take the plunge and see what
it’s all about.<br
May), I have been diabetic for 12 years now. I was
diagnosed on my 32nd birthday! What a present! I am on 3
oral meds, Glucophage, Glucotrol XL, and Actos. I need
to lose weight and my sugars are out of control
right now. My doc and I are working on it now and I
hope to be in better shape soon.<br
widow, I lost my DH to cancer in October 2000. So, I am
dealing with his loss, as well. While he was sick, I put
on a lot of weight and took care of him instead of
myself. I miss him a lot, he was my support system for
dealing with the diabetes and now I don’t have anyone to
help me when the lows and highs come.<br
a college student. I got my Associate’s Degree in
Education in May 2000. I am currently working on my
Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, Pre K-6. I
will be earning a Master’s degree in Education and
another Master’s in Math, I hope. It is my dream to
become a math teacher and I, with the Lord’s help, will
get there one day.<br
real soon. Thank you for inviting me to the club and I
apologize that this is so long.<br

Hello, Cathy!<br
The old saying goes, “When there’s a will,
and currently praying to God that I would not feel
too awkward in this club, since I don’t really belong
here.
there’s a way”, and my trademark quote is “Nothing is
impossible”, so I sincerely believe that you will make it as
long as you keep going towards your goal, no matter
what. Best wishes!<br
