My 4 year old diabetic
Hello, thanks for the invite. This is a very
informative club. Sometimes I feel like I am wrong for
feeling the way I do. <br
diagnosed with type 1 in Nov, 2000. We all were surprised
and angry. We know that type 2 runs in both of our
familys but Shane is the first to be diagnosed with type
1. Getting him to eat on time and what he needs to
is a battle. He takes his shots well and he checks
his own sugar, but the eating battle continues. I get
so angry about fighting with him and I often run to
a corner to cry. I dont know what to do. We have
caught him more than once with a bag of candy in his
room, half gone. We put these things up but he manages
to get them I am not sure how. I guess we will have
to lock it all up. If anyone has any advice I would
really appreciate it.
